An underground laboratory... a fatal mistake. Resident Evil directed by writer and producer Paul W.S. Anderson is based on the internationally popular video games of the same name. The Japanese also call it 'Biohazard'. Capcom originated the game and Paul took it to screen. Starring Milla Jovovich as Alice it centers around her character who has lost her memory in a large estate. When an Umbrella team breaks into the mansion to see what's happened it is revealed that the Umbrella Corporation (a commercial entity that makes everything from beauty products to kids cough syrup) is behind it and has killed everyone in the Hive before the commandos and co have got there.

Now... they're left to survive and face the undead.
