Biography: Alice is a woman of honor. You can try to make or break her, but she won’t let you. In the beginning of the movie we see her as a woman who doesn’t know quite what she’s doing or who she is due to the fumes from the shower in the mansion. We can tell that she’s of great importance to see that a commando team has gone after her and telling her to report. She’s a soldier. But when things go wrong, pieces of memories start to come back to her. Alice finds that her hand-to-hand skills come back as well as she takes out the undead.

Abernathy is generally a very caring individual and often lets her feelings and emotions get the best of her in tight situations with cared for or loved ones. However she’s also cold and can kill with no mercy to those that are of Umbrella or of their kind (ala zombies.) She has feelings for Carlos Olivera and later shows it. Known allies are Claire Redfield, Rain Ocampo, Carlos Olivera, Jill Valentine, Matthew Addison and others.

Matthew Addison is an environmentalist in the wrong place at the wrong time. Though to Matt, it would seem the right time to get some answers. He is the ‘hero’ of the story with no firearm or combat skills. He befriends Alice, and we see a little bit of a friendship perhaps more going on there. Loyal and courageous as well as smart. He is the first one to point out that the blood is coagulated and that blood doesn’t do that till after you’re dead. Something J.D. didn’t even know. He obviously has a strong background in research of some sort and an equal affection to Alice Abernathy.

Matt’s allies are Alice Abernathy, Rain Ocampo, Chad Kaplan and the later deceased Lisa Addison (his sister).

Matt is taken under Umbrella’s wing and put into the Nemesis Program after being scratched by the Licker, he is then from there transformed into Nemesis and dies in RE: Apocalypse after helping Alice fight Umbrerlla.

Unlike the other commandos in Umbrella, Kaplan is specifically trained in electronics and code breaking (something the others probably are moderately good at if not at all.) He has a scared demeanor and comes off as a bit of a scaredy cat and worried. But on the inside, he’s heroic and shows this when it’s time to continue the mission. Kap has his orders and will do anything to see them through. He also the one responsible for letting the ‘zombies’ out by accident when he turned off the power to the Hive.

Ultimately Kaplan is bitten in the sewers and then gets thrown from the train by the Licker near the very end.

Rain Ocampo has lived her life with sass and class. She is comrades with J.D. Salinas and a team member of the Special Forces lead by One. Excellent with acid remarks and firearms, she is the best in her team with guns. Her demeanor is that of a cold and arrogant woman, to match that of J.D.’s arrogance. However it can be seen that even though she’s quite bitchy, she can stand out and worry about her team. Especially when she gets bitten is when we realize that she’s got more heart than she shows till the very end.

Allies include Alice Abernathy, Matthew Addison, J.D. Salinas, her team, Spence Parks

Ultimately Rain is shot in the head by Matt Addison due to being bitten several times and finally turning into one of the T-Virus carriers.

He really isn’t so bad. After all, he did everything for Alice Abernathy. A wedding as part of the cover for the Hive, the two lived together. Spence is excellent with languages and is a pretty good spy. He is the cause of the T-Virus spreading through the hive, in hopes that he’d make his girlfriend’s dreams come true, all of them. But when it backfires and he loses his memory due to the gases in the Hive…things start to get strange. He doesn’t remember who he is, what this place is. It slowly comes back to him after he’s forced to tote around a very sickly Rain with the company until something inside of him snaps.

He can’t be trusted, but he’s not really all that evil. Or is he?

Spence ultimately ends up getting bitten and then gets killed by the Licker.

There is definitely something up with J.D. Salinas. Cocky and a comrade of Rain Ocampo, the two are often paired together in missions. Not much is known about him other than his arrogance to open a door when Rain can’t. He’s apart of the Special Forces team lead by Commander One for the Umbrella Corporation. We don’t know for sure if he and Rain have feelings for one another, but it’s hinted.

He leads the Special Operations (Umbrella) team and even he has a heart as Alice mentions she doesn’t want to know what went on down there in the Hive, he says he doesn’t blame her. Caring about his team’s safety is his number one priority. But sometimes even leaders fall.
