Westerns obsessed with India's slum. Even when they reporting for a Bangalore based startup, shots were taken from Old Delhi roads.

No connection to Old Delhi and Bangalore IT hub but still..as usual..slumdog millionaire

That awful "Indian" background music picked by white people who think India is full of elephants and snake charmers..

Typical Western media. Talking about one of India's biggest startups while standing in the middle of the busiest, noisiest and dirtiest street they could find. Disliked.

Why does Western Media has to include the slum in the background for India reporting? Why can't they stick to the subject and show the IT parks! May be it is sign of growing fear!

Its nice to see pricing fight between Amazon India and Flipkart leading to improving customer service and helping me save more. Yes now I can buy YouTube premium. Haha

This is a problem for India, though, which seems to be a trend in the country. The largest ecommerce retailer in the next largest emerging market being sold off to foreign companies before it even reaches anywhere near maturity. You'd end up with a lot of Indian entrepreneurs whose end-goals are to be bought out instead of fully managing the company through its cycles. Not sure how this will help India in the long-run if its unicorns are not owned by local citizens.

What the hell. Flipkart is not Indian Amazon. There is already Amazon India. Don't mix both of them together

Flipkart would be 100 billion dollar company but due to lack of prudence by Indian pathetic government we end up in selling our largest e commerce to Walmart
