Most of the images are lies.
For example, when explaining the Kamakura period, the picture is in the Edo period.

This documentary is slightly inaccurate: Toyotomi Hideyoshi only rose to the title of Imperial Regent , a Sesshō (摂政), not a shogun. Then he had retired , thereby becoming a “retired regent” Taikō (太閤). However, this doesn’t diminish that he was running things in Japan.

I can't stand how they completely leave out Takesa Shingen and a lot of other very important characters of Japanese history.

I think this video combined Tokugawa Ieyasu and Tokugawa Iemitsu into one person. I think there are a few discrepancies with this video.

It's great to watch these old documentaries, much more interesting and informative than "modern" documentaries.

Actually, it was Minamoto-no-Yoshinaka who wrecked Taira army at the battle of Kurikara. Yoritomo later defeated Yoshitsune and and took over Minamoto and ended Genpei war.

Those little crabs imprinted with samurai faces were rejected by the fishermen out of superstition. That led to more of that kind of crab reproducing.

Just remember!  As this can happen again... The warriors were there for the farmers and their land, to grow food and to survive their bloodlines.  And where the warriors differed, things terrible derived out of desperation, and metal struck bone, yea, metal struck bone!

Korea has always been just a theater, not an actor in international politics.
It was a vassal country of Ming's and became a battle field in the war between Japan and Ming dynasty, which ruled China in those days.
Hideyoshi of Japan intended to occupy China.
Korea helped Ming in the war, but on the land the Korean army was so weak that the Korean royal family fled Seoul, Korea's capital, and abandoned people before HIdeyoshi's army reached it. Some slaves in Seoul were happy to burn the documents which showed their status of slaves.
On the sea, the Korean navy led by Admiral Yi fought more bravely than the inept army but was shot to death in the battle of the Korean strait in the end.
