Today is the start of my Chernobyl series and we enter Pripyat for the first time. It has always been a dream of mine to explore Chernobyl and 33 years after the disaster i get the chance. In todays video we explore the swimming pool and one of the schools. Documenting the decay of abandoned buildings, forgotten places, theme parks, mansions and theatres. Join me on my adventures as I capture my passion for urban exploring also known as urbex. My Patreon https://www.patreon.com/Abandonedexplorer guys if your planning a trip to Chernobyl I highly recommend booking through SoloEast Travel they was the first company to take people into Chernobyl and have the best knowledge about the place link is below very easy to book. https://www.tourkiev.com Also check out Warren's channel who helped make the drone shots his video will be out very soon link below https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCqpRq4LtXJCX9TQKNXLlmVA?app=desktop #Abandoned #pripyat #chernobyl

It seemed a very lively place to live back in 1986. Thank you to the men that knowingly sacrificed their lives to contain the radiation leak to spare the rest of the planet from continued radiation exposure. Thank you to the first responders that were not fully aware of the total danger involved but knew it was very dangerous to respond to the initial fire, but still came to fulfill their obligation. Your sacrifices did make enormous differences all over the planet. Rest in peace.

So that is how the earth will look like after a total nuclear war and annhilation. One way or the other, it seems that nature will take over once again when humans no longer exist

I find it amazing how fast nature can take back man made areas.

Puts radiation detector on highly contaminated ground, picks up with bare hand. Not smart.

Better use some gear and gloves while filming... It's awesome

I find the vegetation taking over after 33 years most interesting. I read sometime ago that if mankind for whatever reason extincts itself, 10,000 years later there will be no evidence of us even existing. Yep, we are very clever
